Arya is a busy actor these days. He’s simultaneously shooting for three big films — Yatchan, Purampokku and Megaman. And, we hear that the dashing young star has a new look in Vishnuvardhan’s Yatchan, the shooting of which kick-started in the city just a couple of days ago.
“He will be sporting a new look for the first half of Yatchan,” confirmed G. Dhananjayan, chief, South Business-Studios, Disney India. “The film is a rom-com action entertainer and will showcase Arya and Kreshna in an all-new avatar.” Yatchan, which means ‘puppeteer’, will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures, in association with Vishnuvardhan films.
To get a natural landscape, the makers are currently shooting some high-octane action sequences in the streets of the city — in Triplicane and Rangarajapuram. The two leading ladies of this project are yet to be officially announced.
Interestingly, the actor seems to be favouring multi-starrer and two-hero subjects these days. His 2013 films, Settai and Aarambam, featured other leading stars as well. If one of his last releases, Raja Rani, featured Jai in a prominent role too, his current two flicks — Yatchan and Purampokku — will see young stars Kreshna and Vijay Sethupathi teaming up with him.
